Jakarta, August 26, 2025 A total of 1,091 new students at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta participated in the first day of the Academic and Student Culture Introduction (PBAK). These new students gathered at the FEB Building on Jalan Ibnu Sina at 6:00 a.m., dressed in white and black uniforms. The new students walked in an orderly manner to the Triguna Field at UIN Jakarta to attend the opening ceremony of the 2025 PBAK with the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, PhD.

In his speech, the Rector welcomed the new students and advised them to study hard. “You are the chosen ones who have successfully entered the UIN Jakarta campus. Together with you, we will shape the future of the campus and the future of Indonesia,” said the Rector in front of 9,117 new students from various faculties who filled the field. After the opening ceremony, the new students returned to the FEB Building on Jalan Ibnu Sina, escorted by students from DEMA, SEMA, and HMPS FEB.

The Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation at FEB, Dr. Asyari Hasan, expressed his pride in the new students. "Alhamdulillah, we are certainly proud to welcome more than 1,000 new students. Today is the first day of the PBAK activities, which were attended by all students both at the FEB Building and the Rectorate Building this morning. Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly and orderly despite the scorching sun," said Asyari.

The PBAK activities will run until Friday, August 29, 2025. (AC)
