Jakarta, August 28, 2026 – KSEI LiSEnSi FEB UIN Jakarta officially held the opening ceremony for the 2026 Sharia Economics Mentoring program on Friday, August 28, 2026, at SMK Negeri 20 Jakarta. This event marks the beginning of a mentoring program series aimed at enhancing students' understanding, insight, and competence regarding Sharia economics and finance.

The opening event was attended by 95 students from SMK Negeri 20 Jakarta and 25 university students from FEB UIN Jakarta. Also in attendance were Mr. Muamar Ma'ruf, representing the school principal, and Ms. Isma Wahyuni, the advisor for the *Kelompok Siswa Madani* (KESMA) student group. The event began at 13:00 WIB with participant registration. It was opened by Masters of Ceremony Istiqomah Ramadhani Indianti and Chika Viorentina, and commenced with a Quran recitation by M. Iqbal Al Fateh, the singing of the national anthem *Indonesia Raya* led by Eka Najmia Alferni, and opening remarks from the 2026 Mentoring Organizing Committee Chair, Siti Syahadatul Alladiah. Remarks were also delivered by Aldist Alifya (representing the Chairperson of KSEI LiSEnSi FEB UIN Jakarta) and Mr. Muamar Ma'ruf (representing the school principal), who expressed their support and positive response to the initiative. The event then proceeded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by Mr. Muamar Ma'ruf, serving as the symbolic launch of the 2026 Sharia Economics Mentoring program series.

Following the opening session, the activity continued with an introductory presentation on Sharia economics delivered by Bunga Ekasuci Yuniawanti and M. Husni Nugraha. Through this introductory session, participants gained an overview of the fundamental concepts and scope of Sharia economics, as well as the vital role the younger generation plays in the future development of the halal industry.

Following the presentation, students and their university-student mentors were organized into groups for introductions and discussions regarding the material previously covered; the atmosphere within each group was characterized by active and enthusiastic dialogue between the students and mentors.
The Sharia Economics Mentoring Program will proceed through a series of sessions featuring a progressive curriculum: a Basic level for 10th-grade students, an Intermediate level for 11th-grade students, and an Advanced level for 12th-grade students. Each session is designed to be interactive—incorporating presentations, discussions, case studies, games, and group activities—to ensure participants fully grasp the material.

The opening event concluded with a group photo session and an announcement regarding the schedule for the next mentoring session. Through the Sharia Economics Mentoring Program 2026, it is hoped that all participants will engage enthusiastically with the series and emerge as young individuals who are literate in Sharia economics and capable of contributing to its future development.(lisensi)
