Jakarta, February 2, 2026. The Sharia Economics Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held a Concentration Dialogue attended by students from the class of 2023. This online event was enthusiastically attended by students. The event was opened by the head of the Sharia Economics study program, Ali Rama PhD, accompanied by the study program secretary, Dr. M. Lutfi, with two lecturers from the study program, Rr. Tini Anggraeni and Ady Cahyadi, as speakers.
In his remarks, Ali Rama conveyed the importance of this activity in helping students choose the best concentration or specialization. “This activity is very important for us, the program administrators, and for students to gain confidence in choosing their concentration or specialization,” said the Aberdeen alumnus.
During the presentation session, speakers Tini and Ady explained the important reasons, career and professional prospects, and further studies in choosing a specialization for students. “Some reasons to consider when choosing a major or concentration are inclinations, professions, and job opportunities. Don't choose a major or concentration just because your friends are doing so,” said Tini.
After the presentation, the activity was filled with a dialogue between students and program administrators. (AC)
