Ciputat, August 27, 2026 — The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has partnered with Taksasila Edukasi Insani (TEIN) to organize a Junior Multimedia Designer training and certification program for FEB lecturers, students, and educational staff. This collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement by the Dean of FEB, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si., Ak., CA., and the TEIN Program Coordinator, Dr. Nur Asni Gani, S.Sos., MM., under agreement numbers 78/TEIN-PKS/VIII/2026 and B-8320/F.8/HK.7/8/2026.

Four TEIN representatives from diverse academic backgrounds attended the meeting. TEIN is a community that has grown since 2024—originating from casual discussions during the COVID-19 pandemic—and has now evolved into an organization with its own dedicated administrative team. A commitment to education remains the foundation of their activities across various sectors, including a community service journal indexed in Sinta 4. The organization also boasts a track record of training collaborations with various institutions, including PT PLN (Persero).

This partnership aims to enhance the multimedia competencies of FEB lecturers, students, and staff, while simultaneously improving the quality of learning media, publications, and information services within the Faculty. Through this program, participants will also be prepared to undertake the Junior Multimedia Designer competency certification.

The training will span eight working days—equivalent to 80 hours—from September 21 to 30, 2026, and will be held at the FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta campus. This activity will involve 64 participants—comprising lecturers, active students, and educational staff from FEB—divided into four classes of 16 participants each; the selection process is being conducted by FEB. The program will culminate in a competency certification test on October 1, 2026.

Notably, this program involves a partnership with the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemnaker)—specifically the Bekasi Vocational Training and Productivity Center (BBPVP Bekasi)—which is funding the activity. Thanks to this support, the entire training and competency certification process is provided to participants free of charge. During the training, participants will also receive benefits such as uniforms, transportation, and meals, in accordance with BBPVP Bekasi regulations.

Participant evaluation will be based on attendance, participation, assignments, practical work, final projects, and presentations of their work. Training certificates will be awarded to participants who meet a minimum attendance requirement of 90 percent across all sessions and complete the assigned tasks. The competency certification itself will be administered by an authorized Professional Certification Body; however, participation in the training does not automatically guarantee a finding of competence, as the final determination rests with the training assessors.

This Memorandum of Agreement is effective from the date of signing until the completion of all activities, including reporting, and may be extended or renewed upon the written agreement of both parties. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the digital and multimedia competencies of the FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta academic community while paving the way for future collaborations between higher education institutions and vocational training centers.
