FEB UIN Jakarta Students Study Digital Transformation of Financial Transaction Supervision at PPATK

Jakarta, 19 September 2025 Dozens of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta students had the opportunity to listen to a lecture on the digital transformation of financial transaction supervision at the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK) Building, Central Jakarta. The activity that was held in the framework of the company visit was attended by dozens of students from the management study programme and the development economics study programme accompanied by the head of the study programme and several lecturers.

At the PPATK Building, FEB students were received by Steffi Edwar, a Junior Expert Analyst at PPATK. In her speech, Steffi expressed her gratitude and was ready to convey the duties and functions of PPATK in Indonesia. "We thank you for the presence of lecturers and students from FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Together with Mr Irwan and Mrs Anis, our colleagues at PPATK, we will explain the "money trail" process of financial transactions in Indonesia," said Steffi in front of the students.

Chairperson of the Management Study Programme, Murdiyah Hayati, said that the company visit was an effort to provide direct experience for management study programme students and also development economics study programme students about financial transaction traffic in Indonesia. "This company visit to PPATK is an effort by both the management study programme and the development economics study programme to provide direct experience to students about the supervision of financial transactions in Indonesia," said Murdiyah who was agreed by Arief Fitrijanto, Head of the Development Economics Study Programme.

The company visit event was filled with material exposure from PPATK speakers, discussions and ended with a group photo. (AC)
