GIS FEB UIN JAKARTA Holds Final Internal Equity Research 2026, Building a Culture of Research and Sharia Stock Competition Among Students

Ciputat, June 20, 2026, The Sharia Investment Gallery (GIS) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, through Investment Studies, successfully held the 2026 Internal Equity Research Final.
This activity was the culmination of a three-week Equity Research Master Class series, themed "Internal Sharia Equity Grand Challenge for the Most Valuable Sharia Stocks." The event, held at Theater 2, FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, was attended by 76 participants from six GIS divisions: the Creative and Design Division, Human Resources Division, Investment Strategy Division, Social Media Strategist Division, Event and Education Division, and Public Relations Division.
The 2026 Internal Equity Research Final provided a platform for GIS administrators to implement learning outcomes in developing stock analysis skills, preparing equity research reports, and delivering data-driven investment recommendations. Previously, participants were provided with material on the history of the capital market, fundamental analysis, industry analysis, financial statement analysis, valuation, technical analysis, and equity research report writing through a series of Master Classes.
The event opened with a recitation of the Divine Word, the Indonesian national anthem, and remarks from the Chairperson of the Committee, the Deputy Chairperson of GIS, the GIS Advisor, and the Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Economics and Business of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. In his remarks, the GIS Advisor urged participants to use this activity as a practical tool to continuously hone their research skills, preparing them to compete in various stockcase and equity research competitions at the national and international levels.

Similarly, the Deputy Dean III advised that this activity should not be merely a competition, but rather foster a culture of research, critical thinking, and a spirit of continuous learning among students, while also equipping them to face the competitive professional world.

In the main session, each division presented research results on their chosen issuer: the Creative and Design Division reviewed PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA), the Human Resources Division discussed PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), the Investment Strategy Division reviewed PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN), the Social Media Strategist Division analyzed PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), the Event and Education Division reviewed PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), and the Public Relations Division examined PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF).
The judging panel was comprised of capital market practitioners Ramadhan, S.E., RTA, RSA, AWP, Ahmad Faris Mu'tashim, RSA, RTA, AWP, and Ilham Ananda Firdaus, RTA, AWP. Each division presented its analysis, followed by a question-and-answer session that covered investment arguments, industry and issuer understanding, growth assumptions, valuation methods, and investment risks.
The panel of judges commended the participants for their excellent presentations, which demonstrated their ability to explain their analyses effectively and provide relevant answers to the critical questions posed. They also encouraged participants to continue honing their equity research skills, as experience in preparing investment research reports is a valuable asset in the professional world, particularly in the financial and capital markets industries.
The event concluded with closing statements from the jury, the presentation of certificates of appreciation, and a joint documentation session. Through the 2026 Internal Equity Research Final, GIS FEB UIN Jakarta hopes to produce a competent, integrated young generation ready to contribute to the development of the Islamic capital market industry in Indonesia.
