GIS FEB UIN Jakarta Officially Opens the 2025/2026 Internal Trading Competition Series
On Saturday, August 1, 2026, the Opening Internal Trading Competition was held with the theme "Value-Driven Traders: Navigating the Market, Upholding Sharia." This activity was a follow-up to the Investment Masterclass training series held by the Investment Strategy division under the auspices of the Research Department of the Sharia Investment Gallery (GIS) FEB UIN Jakarta for the 2025/2026 period. It consisted of a seminar on the Internal Trading Competition implementation mechanism, trading strategies, and capital market analysis, followed by a question-and-answer session and interactive discussion.
The event began at 7:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time with participant registration by the committee. The series of activities was officially opened by the Master of Ceremonies, Callista Fury Facida Faqih and Muhammad Farhan Faturrohman. The event was followed by a recitation of the Divine Word by Muhammad Raga Ananda Sitorus and the singing of "Indonesia Raya" led by Pelangi Nabila. The opening remarks were given by Ghaitsa Rahman Karim, the Chairperson of the Internal Trading Competition, followed by remarks from Fadli Firzatillah, the Chairperson of the GIS FEB UIN Jakarta. This was followed by remarks by Dr. Ir. Roikhan Mochamad Aziz, MM, the Advisor of GIS FEB UIN Jakarta. The committee also expressed its appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Asyari Hasan, M.Ag., CM, the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Economics and Business, for his support in organizing the Internal Trading Competition. The event continued with a joint documentation session.
Entering the main session, the moderator read out the CVs of the presenters before the presentation began. The presentation, delivered by M. Anggit Gagat A., RTA, a representative from PT Phillip Sekuritas Indonesia, covered the Internal Trading Competition's mechanisms, trading strategies, capital market analysis, and risk management, providing participants with preparation for the competition. The session continued with a live trading session, again led by Anggit, before concluding with a question-and-answer session led by the moderator.
Following the material and practical sessions, the committee read out the Internal Trading Competition rules, which will serve as a guide for participants throughout the competition. The event concluded with an interactive games session, a closing prayer, and a closing ceremony by the Master of Ceremonies.
Through this activity, all administrators of the Sharia Investment Gallery, FEB UIN Jakarta, for the 2025/2026 period, are expected to be able to apply technical and fundamental analysis, develop effective trading strategies, and optimally manage risk and portfolios, as preparation for participating in external capital market competitions and facing challenges in the investment and professional world.
