In Support of Campus Digitalization, the FEB Holds an Information Session on the Implementation of the Paperless Office (PLO)
Ciputat, May 5, 2026 – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has taken concrete steps to support the university’s digital transformation by holding a Leadership Coordination Meeting to discuss the implementation of the Paperless Office (PLO). The meeting took place on Tuesday morning, May 5, 2026, in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room, FEB Building, Jalan Ibnu Sina, Ciputat Campus.
The meeting was chaired directly by the Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si., and attended by the faculty leadership, including the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Sofyan Rizal, M.Si., Vice Dean for General Administration Dr. Erika Amelia, M.Si., Head of the Administrative Office Iin Marlina, MM., as well as all Program Directors (Kaprodi), Program Secretaries (Sekprodi), PLP, and educational staff within the FEB.
In his opening remarks, FEB Dean Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam reaffirmed the faculty’s commitment to a full-scale transition to a digital administrative system. “The Faculty of Economics and Business is ready to fully support and implement this PLO program. This is not merely about reducing paper usage, but an integral part of the university’s broader ‘digitalization’ initiative aimed at enhancing efficiency, transparency, and the speed of administrative services within UIN Jakarta,” said Prof. Ibnu Qizam.
To provide in-depth technical understanding, FEB invited a team of experts from the Center for Information Technology and Data Center (Pustipanda) at UIN Jakarta, namely Sukho, Reza, and Shofwan. During the socialization session, the Pustipanda team presented the technical details of PLO implementation, ranging from digital document workflows and the use of electronic signatures to an integrated cloud-based archiving system.
This PLO implementation is expected to reduce physical bureaucracy, which has long consumed time and storage space. In addition to operational efficiency, this step also represents a tangible contribution by FEB UIN Jakarta in supporting environmentally friendly policies (green campus) through the reduction of paper waste.
This interactive event concluded with a discussion on infrastructure readiness and adjustments to internal workflows for educational staff and program administrators, to ensure a smooth transition from manual to digital systems without significant technical issues. (AC)
