Ciputat, June 13, 2025 – KSEI LiSEnSi UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a National Workshop as part of the Week of Sharia Economic Exhibition (WESHARE) 2025 series with the theme "Economy in the Midst of Trade War: Sharia Strategy in Global Uncertainty." The event took place at the FEB UIN Jakarta Campus 1 Theater and was attended by dozens of participants from various student groups and the general public who were enthusiastic about exploring sharia economic issues.

This workshop presented two expert speakers. The first session was filled by Rija Fathul Bari (Assistant Director of the Banten Province OJK), who reviewed the development of sharia finance in Indonesia and the importance of increasing literacy and inclusion of sharia finance amidst global uncertainty. The second session was presented by Dr. Ali Rama, Lecturer at FEB UIN Jakarta, who discussed the potential of sharia economics as an alternative strategy to face global pressures and trade wars, as well as Indonesia's opportunities to become the center of the world's Islamic economy.

Guided by moderator Zidane Akbar, an alumni of KSEI LiSEnSi 2019, the workshop was closed with a discussion session, certificate handover, documentation, and a joint prayer. This activity is a real manifestation of KSEI LiSEnSi's contribution in producing a critical, solution-oriented, and competitive young generation in the field of sharia economics.
