Ciputat, May 7, 2026. Students from the Management Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, successfully organized a workshop titled “Event Talk: Spilling the Tea on the Event Business” in Classroom 502 at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta. The event, which took place from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM, featured Yudha Saifulislam Obon as the keynote speaker. The workshop was part of the implementation of the Business Practice and Exhibition course, initiated by students in the Entrepreneurship concentration as an effort to enhance students’ understanding of the event management world and the creative industry, which continues to evolve dynamically and competitively.

In his presentation, Yudha Saifulislam Obon, CEO of PT. Komunikasi Lima Elemen, shared his experiences and insights regarding the event industry, ranging from the event planning process and team coordination to creative strategies for developing relevant and engaging event concepts. He also discussed the various challenges and opportunities faced by professionals in the event industry in today’s creative era. Through seminars, sharing sessions, discussions, and interactive Q&A sessions, participants gained a realistic picture of the professional world of event management.

The participants’ enthusiasm was evident in the students’ active engagement in asking questions and participating in discussions throughout the event. This workshop served not only as a practical learning experience but was also intended to enhance the students’ soft skills, particularly in the areas of communication, teamwork, creativity, and the ability to demonstrate professionalism and adaptability when facing industry challenges. Additionally, the event helped broaden the students’ perspectives on career opportunities in event management and the creative industries.
