Ciputat, May 13, 2026 – The State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has once again achieved a remarkable feat in the national higher education arena. The Rector, along with the entire UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta community, officially expressed their appreciation and congratulations on the success of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) in achieving the “Excellent” accreditation status for two programs simultaneously: the Bachelor’s (S1) and Doctoral (S3) programs in Islamic Banking.

This prestigious achievement is outlined in the Decision of the Independent Accreditation Agency for Economics, Business Management, and Accounting (LAMEMBA) No. 009/DE/A.5/LAMEMBA-PR/V/2026 for the Bachelor’s Program and No. 010/DE/A.5/LAMEMBA-PR/V/2026 for the Doctoral Program. This “Excellent” status is the highest level in the national accreditation system, indicating that the quality of education, curriculum, and governance at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta, has met standards that exceed the National Higher Education Standards (SN Dikti).

The Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, PhD, stated that this achievement is not merely an administrative recognition, but tangible proof of the university’s consistency in producing competent experts and practitioners in Islamic economics at the global level. This aligns with the university’s vision to become a center of excellence in the integration of science and Islam.
This joy was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si. In his remarks, he expressed deep appreciation to the entire management of the study program and the accreditation team for their full dedication.

“Congratulations to all of us, especially to the heads of the Islamic Banking study programs at both the undergraduate and doctoral levels. This achievement is the result of our collective hard work and synergy. Let’s remain united to continue moving forward together for the advancement of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and UIN Jakarta,” said Prof. Ibnu Qizam.
With the “Excellent” accreditation valid for the next five years, the Islamic Banking Study Program at FEB UIN Jakarta further solidifies its position as a premier destination for prospective students and researchers in the field of Islamic banking.
