Sharia Economics Study Program Holds First Day of Online Lectures
Jakarta, September 1, 2025. In accordance with Rector Circular Letter No. 19/2025 concerning Adjustments to the Implementation of Lectures and Official Duties, the Sharia Economics study program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held its first day of lectures for the 2025/2026 odd semester online via the Ms. Teams platform. These online lectures were held in consideration of the current political situation in Jakarta and parts of Indonesia.
The head of the Sharia Economics study program, Ali Rama, said that the first day of online lectures went smoothly and was well attended by all students. “Alhamdulillah, the online lectures went smoothly, and students and lecturers were able to attend the lectures well according to the set schedule,” said Ali.
Dwi Nuraini, a lecturer in Sharia Marketing Management, expressed a similar sentiment. “We are conducting the first lecture of the 2025/2026 academic year online in light of the current situation in Indonesia. We are introducing the Sharia Marketing Management lecturers and the student learning method (PMR) so that the lectures for the next semester can run smoothly,” said the doctor of Islamic finance.
According to the rector's circular letter, online classes will be held for the first week of September. (AC)
