The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Dr. Sofyan Rizal, M.Si. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance for students to master the balance between theoretical foundations and practical field experience, particularly in the field of Islamic financial technology (fintech).

"It is essential for students to understand both the theory and practice of Islamic fintech so that they can strengthen Islamic economic and financial literacy and inclusion wrapped in modern technology," stated Dr. Sofyan Rizal in his remarks.

Serving as the keynote speaker for this event was Aris Setyawan, M.E., representing PT Qazwa Mitra Hasanah while also serving as the Head of the Digital Financing Department of the Indonesian Islamic Fintech Association (AFSI). The presentation session was moderated by Dr. Ady Cahyadi, M.Si., who also serves as a lecturer for the Islamic Fintech course alongside Dr. Dwi Nur'aini Ihsan, M.M.

The participants showed high enthusiasm throughout the interactive discussion and Q&A session. To further boost student engagement, the committee provided appreciation in the form of e-wallet balances for the four best questioners.

The event concluded officially with the virtual presentation of a certificate of appreciation to the speaker, followed by a group photo session involving all attending participants, lecturers, and committee members.

Through this Practitioner Lecture program, FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta remains committed to producing graduates who are adaptive to global financial technology developments and ready to make tangible contributions to strengthening the Islamic economic and financial ecosystem in Indonesia.
