South Tangerang, TaxTival 2026, organized by the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Tax Center, officially launched its series of events with a National Tax Seminar on Thursday, September 3, 2026. Held at the Old FEB Theater (Campus 1) of the UIN Jakarta FEB Postgraduate Building, the seminar served as the symbolic opening for TaxTival 2026. Centered on the theme "Strengthening the PMSE Taxation Regulatory Framework in the Digital Era for Indonesia’s Creative Economy," the event was organized in response to the rapid growth of digital transactions via Electronic System-Based Trade (PMSE) and their significant contribution to the national economy and the creative economy sector.

The event featured two prominent experts and practitioners in the field of taxation: Adhitya Gema Pratama, S.ST., MBA., BKP. (Head of Tax Research and Advisory at INATAX) and Ali Mochamad Sofi'i, SE., MT. (Intermediate-Level Functional Tax Educator at the Directorate General of Taxes). Both speakers presented in-depth, comprehensive, and relevant material on strategies to strengthen the PMSE taxation regulatory framework, aiming to create a digital ecosystem that is fair, adaptive, and sustainable for creative economy stakeholders.
Conducted in an interactive talk-show format, the event—attended by over 180 participants ranging from students and academics to the general public—proceeded smoothly and successfully. Participants demonstrated great enthusiasm and active engagement throughout the discussion and Q&A sessions, which focused on the challenges and opportunities regarding tax policy in the digital era.
With the launch of this national seminar, TaxTival 2026 is expected not only to serve as a platform for enhancing tax literacy and awareness but also to open opportunities for collaboration and the exchange of ideas, supporting the creation of an inclusive and innovative digital taxation system in Indonesia.(tax)
