The 2025 FEB UIN Jakarta Lecturer Meeting with the theme "Strategies for Strengthening Global Engagement through Improving the Quality of OBE-Based Learning at FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta"
Thursday, August 21, 2025 - The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a lecturer meeting with the theme "Strategies for Strengthening Global Engagement through Improving the Quality of OBE-Based Learning at FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta" on Thursday, August 21, 2025. This activity was held in the 5th Floor Theater Room of FEB UIN Jakarta at 9:00 a.m. WIB and was attended by the Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta and his staff, Professors, and lecturers.
The event began with the recitation of the holy Quran, the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya, and a prayer led by Dr. Muhajirin, M.Ag. Following this, remarks were delivered by Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., as Dean of FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. In his remarks, he outlined preparations for the start of lectures in early September, including the development of lesson plans (RPS), teaching materials, and the implementation of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum supported by the E-Semesta system. He also emphasized the importance of evaluating the previous curriculum, maximizing on-time graduation by adapting to available facilities, and optimizing laboratories to support the development of student potential at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
This was followed by a presentation by Dr. Hexana Sri Lastanti, Ak., M.Si., CA., CSRS., CSRA, moderated by Dr. Ay Maryani, M.Si., entitled "Strategies for Strengthening Global Engagement through Improving the Quality of OBE-Based Learning at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta." The presentation went well and was well-received by all participants. It was followed by an interactive discussion session with the audience. In her presentation, Dr. Hexana emphasized that the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is not something to be afraid of, but rather a learning system that, once understood, feels natural and easy to implement. The OBE curriculum comprises four main aspects: output-based learning, the formulation of graduate profiles and learning outcomes (CPL, CPMK, and sub-CPMK), and the design of output-based assessments.
OBE focuses on predetermined outcomes, unlike previous curricula, and its relevance is reinforced by regulations such as Permendikbudristek No. 53 of 2023. She also explained that each study program must have a clear graduate profile, along with CPL as a mandatory skill for students, CPMK as a derivative of CPL in each course, and sub-CPMK as specific indicators evaluated by lecturers. Meanwhile, assessments are conducted in stages, starting with sub-CPMK at the end of the learning session, CPMK at the end of the course, CPL upon graduation, and finally, up to the study program objectives (PEOs) measured 4–5 years after graduates are employed.
Following the presentations and discussion sessions, the event continued with a group photo session to document the sense of togetherness. This moment served as a warm closing and symbolized the strong collaboration between the speakers, moderator, and all participants (HA/JM).
