Ciputat, April 20, 2026 – The Entrepreneurship Class of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully held an Expert Lecture titled “How to Manage International Events: A Case Study of the Mandalika Circuit.” The event took place on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Theater Room on the 5th floor of the FEB Building on Jalan Ibnu Sina.
This activity, initiated as part of an in-depth exploration of entrepreneurial practices, featured a direct collaboration with Rully Habibie, a Business Development Specialist from Mandalika Grand Prix, who served as the keynote speaker.
In his presentation, Rully Habibie shared in-depth insights and firsthand field experience regarding the complexities, challenges, and business strategies behind the successful organization of an international-scale racing event at the Mandalika Circuit. Students were invited to analyze real-world case studies related to operations, risk management, and the commercial strategies required to manage a global-scale mega-project.
The event was attended by dozens of Management Program students who showed great enthusiasm during the interactive discussion session. Also present to facilitate the event was Cut Erika, the lecturer for the Entrepreneurship course at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Jakarta.
In her opening remarks, Cut Erika expressed her appreciation for the event. “Having industry professionals visit the campus in person serves as a vital bridge between academic theory and the realities of the business world. Through this expert lecture, students not only learn about event management but are also encouraged to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset when identifying business opportunities on an international scale,” she said. Echoing Cut Erika’s sentiments, Murdiyah Hayati, Head of the Management Study Program, expressed her support for this expert lecture. “We strongly support activities like this to broaden students’ understanding of how to organize an event effectively and professionally,” said Murdiyah.
It is hoped that this Expert Lecture will serve as a catalyst for students in the Entrepreneurship Management class at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta to become more daring in innovating, designing businesses, and eventually be able to compete in managing strategic projects at both the national and international levels. The event concluded with a reception and a group photo. (AC)
