Islamic Banking Care (IB Care) Days 2021
On Saturday, November 20, 2021, the Islamic Banking Study Program Student Association for the 2020/2021 Period, Faculty of Economics and Business, held Islamic Banking Care (IB Care) activities, which are a series of Islamic Banking Days activities. The theme raised was "Shari'a Banking Cares: Fostering Student Concern for the Nation." The Opening Ceremony was officially opened by Dr. Yuke Rahmawati, M.A as Secretary of the Sharia Banking Study Program and Mr. Edison as Saung Jingga Management.
The activity was carried out offline and broadcast live Zoom for the opening session and published through the social media of HMPS Syariah Banking UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and 7th Islamic Banking Days. The purpose of this activity is to foster a sense of social awareness in the community, carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, one of which is community service. This event carries the theme "Islamic Banking Cares: Fostering Student Concern for the Nation". This activity will be held at Saung Jingga Jalan Pinus 2, Pd. Objects, district. Pamulang, South Tangerang City, Banten. Saung Jingga is a shelter and a place to learn for children from underprivileged families in the scavenger village area. The location is a slum area where there is a hut as a learning facility for the surrounding children. However, there are still shortcomings in terms of the adequacy of learning facilities.
This event was also supported by Zakat Sukses and the Amanah Takaful Foundation which helped fund and support the Iqra 'book for foster children in Saung Jingga. Moreover, it is also supported by donors who participate in donating for IB Care activities.
There are four programs carried out in this activity, namely the Education Program, Social and Islamic Program and Environmental Program. Activities carried out at the event included Watching Creative and Inspirational Videos Together, Making Saung Gardens and Fences, Competitions, Murals, and Eating Together.
The Islamic Banking Care activity on the Seventh Islamic Banking Days 2021 took place at 09.00 WIB to 16:30 WIB Offline and Zoom Meeting and was attended by the Secretary of the Islamic Banking Study Program Dr. Yuke Rahmawati, M.A, Saung Jingga Management, Mr. Edison, Chief Executive Bhahari Abdul Gani, Deputy Chairman of HMPS Syariah Banking Rahmasari, and 50 committee members and 40 foster children of Saung Jingga.
