In order to improve research and publication capabilities in the field of Islamic economics and finance, the National Committee for Islamic Economics and Finance (KNEKS) held a Research Workshop Series in Islamic Economics and Finance: Hands-on Mentoring to Publish Robust Research in Scopus International Journal. The series 2 of this workshop held on July 22, 2021. This workshop was held in collaboration with The Indonesian Association of Islamic Economist (IAEI) Chapter Jakarta, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Universitas Indonesia, and IPB University Prof. Mansor H. Ibrahim is a mentor in this activity. Prof. Mansor H. Ibrahim is currently a professor and Deputy President Academic & Dean at the International Center for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF). In this 2nd series, we discuss how to write an interesting introduction. The introduction must be able to show the research gap and contribution to the issues raised. In series 2, the introductory part that has been written by the participants is also discussed. The Director of Sharia Ecosystem Infrastructure KNEKS Dr. Sutan Emir Hidayat opened this activity with an introduction. In his remarks, the Emir conveyed some of the latest research in the study of Islamic economics and finance in Indonesia. It was also conveyed how important it is to increase research and publications in Islamic economics and finance for scientific development in Indonesia.
